Why Academy?

Calling All Players U7 - u10 Boys and Girls,

The Tulsa Nationals Soccer Academy is forming Academy/ODL Academy Teams for the upcoming Fall 2008 Season and is looking for players in All Age Groups.

Here are the details for the Academy:

Cost

$60 per player registration (unless you are a Union Rec player, then $40 registration) which includes US Club registration and insurance.

ODL League fee, uniforms and any tournaments will be on a per team basis and split proportionately among the players.

$35 per month Coaching fee

Dates

Registration is going on now. The season has already started but players can be added at any time.

Purpose

The Oklahoma Development League ( ODL ) was formed to provide a venue for increased development among and for the Tulsa Area Soccer Community. The teams play an 8v8 format, primarily on Sunday afternoons with teams playing teams NOT based upon age or gender, but on development level. So any given Sunday your team might play an older or younger team of the same or opposite sex. This tends to bring out the best qualities in boys and girls and develop the players much faster, since everyone tends to play to the level of their competition. The Coaching (no offense to any Rec or Dad/Mom coaches, we could not do our job without you!) is of a higher level and more importantly of a more consistent nature, the competition is more evenly balanced (unless you like your child's team winning or losing 12-0 every weekend with no challenges) and the potential for development is far greater. A Parents Guide to Academy Soccer

When do we sign up?

Immediately, space will be filled on a first come, first served basis. Player registration will be taken until the teams are full (max 14 to a team).

Where & when do they play?

Currently at  Union Soccer Complex - the Home fields of Union Soccer Club/Tulsa Nationals and the Nationals Academy , 99.9% of the games will be played on Sunday afternoons, the exceptions being make-up games or special situations.

How do we sign up?
